Donnell Villanueva a.k.a "Dub" , Born and raised in Harlem New York , being known in Harlem and very well recognized throughout the Bronx, this six foot three, Black , Spanish and Chinese kid has a passion for music! Dub plans to go to college in the future for music production and engineering! Now, rather than always hanging out with the crew on Saturdays, Dub spends some of his time doing his internship at "Workroom Recording Studio" so as to learn more about his trade. This young babyfaced rapper now plans to take the rap game and all the young ladies hearts by storm. With hot features such as Cam'ron, Young B (Chicken Noodle Soup), Corey Gunz, Loaded Lux and Mickey Factz to name a few. Also radio plays on stations and promotion, web sites such as freehiphop.com, Onsmash.com , Mixunit.com , Harlempiff.com , Themixtapepro.com and Makinmoves.com. Dub has gotten nothing but positive feed back on his rap skills thus far! He has also freestyled for his respect in the rap game on dvds such as Cocaine City, Gutta Life DVD , Makin Moves DVD , Uptown Harlem , Roc A Dot Films and B.O.S.S DVD as well. A punchline flow similar to that of Fabolous and a fashionable arrogance like that of Jay Z is the best way to describe the flow and delivery that this kid has. Being raised with his father who always had a music studio in his apartment, Dub was not only introduced to music, he was taught to create it. As Dub grew older his fathers musical influence stayed strong within him and he began writing rhymes. He then found himself in need of music to more suit his style of rap so he began creating some of his own beats on his home computer. With only him controlling the computers keys, leveling the mix board and reciting the rhyme he just wrote, Dub used to engineers most of his own sessions. After mixing down what he just created, his artistic creativity kicks in and he even designs his own mixtape cover sometimes. This young focused artist promises to continue showing his love for music and entertaining for years to come.
Harlem is full of great talent, from Cam'ron to Jae Millz and so on and so forth. Add this dude to that list. Dub defintely does his thing on the M -I- C.
