The Florida hip-hop music scene whether you know it or not, has play a very important part in southern hip hop and hop hop in general. Ever since the late 1980's and early 1990's, Miami Bass music has been a popular type of hip hop music. This genre of hip hop has helped inspire and popularize the Florid rappers, dj's and producers of today. With the likes of C.P. Hollywood, Cool & Dre, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Kane Beatz and The Runners on the production side of the current Florida scene and Trick Daddy, Dirtbag, Pitbull, Rick Ross, Plies, C-Ride, Brisco, Joe Hound, Unda Surveillance, Ace Hood, Haitian Fresh, 2 Pistols and many other hot rappers, Florida is now at the front of the pack on the hip-hop scene, but what about the DJ's? Well your about to meet one of the hottest DJs involved in Florida's current movement on the hip hop scene.

Only 22, DJ Freddy Fred is already making a huge impact on the Florida music scene. On top of being Pitbull's and Dirtbag's official DJ, Freddy Fred is also an official Carol City Cartel DJ, a Poe Boy DJ, and a DJ in the Street League DJ Crew. DJ Freddy Fred also rolls with CP Hollywood and possibly the biggest DJ in Florida next to TJ Chapman, DJ Khaled. When Freddy Fred isn't doing his mixshow with his Street League crew homies on 96 Mixx in Miami (Monday through Thursday, 3-5 pm ET and Sunday 10 pm-1am ET) he's rocking parties and adding on to his mixtape catalog with the likes of Pitbull and other Florida MC's.
