T-Pain is dat dude and to be honest, I was on the fence with that whole top hat shpeal. Honestly though, I've accepted the fact that T-Pain is so swagmatic, he can do whatever he wants and make it cool. Sure, not everyone in America is rockin' the top hat like its that ish, but people respect him with or without it on; so he good.
