Hosted by DJ Wristpect, "Coming To America", pairs features like Jonny Roxx, Arion, Choclair, Solitair and Drake, with the sharp production of Dub J, New Leaf, Zoot Woman, Hi-Fly and Spinz. Approximately 60 minutes in length, the mixtape includes: 19 full length tracks, a few spoken interludes, and some comedic samples of "Mr. Comedy" himself - Eddie Murphy.
Creatively bridging the underground and the mainstream worlds JD Era has earned himself a spot amongst Canada's top emcees. In June 2008 he was nominated in two categories at the DJ Stylus Awards, and recently received the Award in the Best Rap category of the Toronto Independent Music Awards. Working on taking his music international, this skilled artist has already appeared in May's issue of Black Men's Magazine and signed a US ringtone deal with Urbmob.com where he is currently ranked as one of the top 3 selling artists.
