I made an informal introduction to this guy last Thursday, but now it's time to get a better view at Christopher Jones AKA C-Ave! Peep his bio!
Miami, FL, Christopher Jones began recording at the age of 13, with only a small computer mic he made his first freestyle demo CD, he brought it to school and showed his the other kids in hopes it would help him to fit in. Though he did not receive much criticism he continued making songs, and began writing. Then using his dads camcorder and video editing software he mixed his vocals with his downloaded instrumentals and began to make more listenable songs. For the next few years he would come home everyday after school and record, putting his homework aside. He would say "It doesn't matter whether I do it (homework) or not, I'm still gonna end up with a C+", thus prompting his first rap name "C+ Average" or "C-Ave" for short.
Using money given to him as a High School Graduation gift he built a small studio in his home in order to allow him to more efficiently pursue his long time hobby. He has put together an overwhelming amount of classic material and is now beginning to shine along side of new found friend and Rapper/Producer "SerG" (http://www.myspace.com/getinmybusiness). He has always loved Film and Movies and has had great success on Youtube under the name CPLUSAVERAGE (http://www.youtube.com/cplusaverage) by directing and editing videos of him and his friends' crazy skits, spoofs, and adventures, him usually behind the camera. But he has now decided to step out from under the shade and step into the spotlight.
He is now prompting his 2009 release entitled "Full Circle" which is already building hype to be a classic. As him and SerG work on songs to pitch to the radio and continue to create hit songs and attract a buzz. He is also helping his friend/Youtube comdiean "Eddo Starr" (http://www.myspace.com/eddostarrofficial) assemble a comedy rap mixtape that is scheduled to be released in December 08'. Chris is now spending everyday working on his projects and helping other artists record and distribute their music. He is always looking for new creative projects to work on and takes pride in helping others with a passion and love for music and the arts.
