If you have been ridin' with BBB from the get go you probably have taken notice to the 'Artist To Watch Out For' segment I have been doing periodically, I did one on this dude and little did I know I would be getting an opportunity to do an official spotlight. Who is this dude you ask? Meet Bahamas born and raised, Atlanta repper Streetz! This dude has been making serious noise on the streets, magazines and mixtapes, and now it's time to for him to make even more noise on BFochs Beats Blog! Meet Streetz!!!!

STREETZ
"When one thinks of the Caribbean, Reggae, Soca, Calypso and just recently Reggaeton are the music mainstreams that come to mind. But with the emergence of Hip Hops new star, STREETZ and his movement Street Value Entertainment. Hip Hop will now be added to that Equation.
Born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. At a very young age Streetz had to take on responsibilities that the average person couldn't imagine. After the horrific experience of witnessing his mother being shot several times by a close family member. Streetz was forced to take care of himself and his two younger sisters as well. Being that he wasn't even a teen yet and his mother being hospitalized and father behind bars (biggest drug kingpins), Streetz had to provide for his family by any means necessary.
In a place where the only real economic growth and stability relies on tourism or drugs. Nassau, Bahamas is like many other cities in the Caribbean; one big struggle. Here, the streets are much tougher and the tolerance is zero and the only way out is through being a government official or the streets. It was almost expected the route Streetz had to take during his younger years to escape poverty and to support his family.
After his mothers slow but surely recovery and her findings that her son was following in the same foot steps of his older cousins and uncles in the streets. She decided it would be for the better at the age of 17, that Streetz relocated and start a new life in Dade County, FL with his uncle. It was not long after Streetz arrived in America, did he get caught up in the streets once again and, later being kicked out of his uncles house.
Bouncing from friends house to house, seeing his close friends and family members falling victim to the streets, and others getting extensive jail time got old for Streetz real fast. With one foot still in the hood and the other seeking a way out it was only a matter of time before the prophet would find his true calling in life.
FINDING HIMSELF ENGULFED WITH WITH THE UNDERWORLD OF THE CARIBBEAN AND HAVING ITS URBAN LEGENDS AS MENTORS STREETZ QUICKLY BECAME BOSS IN HIS OWN RIGHT WHILE DABBLING IN the HOOD HE STUMBLED ON HIS BIGGEST HUSTLE EVER MUSIC (WHICH CAME AS 2ND NATURE WHEN HE JUST RECITING HIS LIFE EXPERIENCES OVER BEATS). In the midst of this, STREETZ PUMP HIS OWN PAPER INTO HIS OWN SITUATION AND TEAM WHICH WOULD SOON BE KNOWN TO MOST AS STREET VALUE) AND WITH THE HOOD ENDORSEMENT and unique style, authentic story and don't give a fuck nature it was a shoe in that he would be destine for greatness.
His thoughts of being a rapper were at first uncertain. Until his dream was made clear after meeting one of Hip Hops legends, the late Big Pun. In which Pun co-signed Streetz work. STREETZ doesn't bring just the stereotypical bounce and rowdy sound of the south, but also the often thought of grimy tone of the northeast or the gang related style of the west. Streetz brings a unique all in one style that will be expected not only nationwide but will take the likings of the world.
THE STREETZ IS TALKING. SHUT THE F**K UP AND LISTEN!!!!!!"
From reading his bio alone should tell you this guy is for real. Oh that's not enough proof you say? Luckily Streetz manager L. Johnson (what's crackin' man thanks for this opportunity!) slid over some tracks that will leave you saying "This guy definitely IS the next big thing, thank you BBB for puttin' me up on this guy!" Answer me that one in the comments section in this post! Below are links to some of Streetz's other features, his myspace, some videos and of course some of his hot tunes! What's crackin' Streetz?
