So the other day i had the pleasure to Interview Dara who is the brains behind the whole Subcon line. Currently Subcon is at the Magic Show in Las Vegas. Dara is one smart individual and its evident that in the coming months....Subcon is taking OVER!!!

Yessir! Subcon has the hot stuff right now! What made you want to create a clothing line?
More or less, we always had a problem matching our sneakers to our clothes, so we thought why not just make the clothes our selves. Not to mention I was tired at looking at generic clothing lines, putting out generic clothes
Haha. Yea. The stuff you guys make are pretty unique. How do u come up with some of the designs?
To be honest I sit back, put on some Wayne or Jay, and just zone out and listen to the lyrics, and I think about how I could twist their words and make them into designs. It’s either that, or I see something while I’m out day to day that I think nobody has touched yet in terms of designing and I take it and run with it
Man that’s amazing. So u guys came out and blew up on EVERY popular blog out there! That was epic. Really got your name out there.
Yea man I saw how the blogs were picking up steam in the mainstream media. I mean think about it. Decision makers at record labels are now forced to go through all the blogs to find new talent like everyone else. The blogging game is a lot more important than most people think it is. So with that in mind I figured, why not get my brand out there with the blogs. I hadn't really seen any other clothing line bum rush all the sites the way we have, and its working out great for us.
