Time To Check Out Some Trilllllll Artists!

Meet Da Underdawgz & Big Game Huntaz!!!

The good people over @ Trill Promotions were kind enough to send over some information on two hot new groups that are messin' with Bun B/Pimp C's own UGK Records! They sent me a Trill Promotions CD in the mail and it was fire! Both of these groups had jammin' tunes on the album on top of various other artists reppin' the UGK Records movement. With out further ado let's meet Da Underdawgz...

Hailing from Port Arthur, Texas, B-DO & T.O.E, known as “Da Underdawgz”, are on the way to being in the mainstream. The two teamed up with Port Arthur legend Pimp C in 2007, which eventually solidified them as artists in the UGK Records click. The duo’s first song with Pimp C, “Grind Hard”, produced by B-DO, landed them a spot on the highly successful UGK self titled double album “Underground Kingz”.

December 4th, 2007, a huge blow was delivered to the group with the untimely passing of Pimp C. Since his death, there has been no time for relaxing and they have stayed on a constant grind. B-DO was featured in Lupe Fiasco’s Hip Hop Saved My Life as the main character. Below are a few Underdawgz songs you can peep and a link to an interview that Trill Chris of Trill Promotions conducted with them.

Now Let's Meet The Big Game Huntaz...

Big Game Huntaz

The Big Game Huntaz, also known as "BGH", reside in Tallahasse, Florida. The group consists of three members; Skinny Bolo, Whitey and Balla Dolla. All three members were previously in a different group, but when things didn't work out they decided to start a group of their own. BGH was formed in late 2005 and later released their first series of mixtapes in 2006, showcasing their skills on the mic and gaining major street credibility. Their first single "Why U Do It Like Dat" recieved many spins on underground radio stations throughout northern Florida and was even adopted by one of their local high schools as the pep rally song.

In early 2007, BGH teamed up with Chris M, owner of Trill Promotions, to help build upon their exposure. This partnership has since lead the group to collaborations with various artists underneath the UGK Records umbrella. BGH's newest project "The Mindstate of a Winner" is hosted by Big Bubb of UGK Records and features Bubb, B Do and Young TOE, all from UGK Records. With this project completed and just hitting the streets, there is no time to sit back and relax. BGH is already on their grind, focusing on making more original music and hoping to release their first album later in 2008. "We try to make music that everyone can relate to....We take our lives and put it down on paper" said Balla Dolla. "We try to be in the studio as much as possible so we can consistently make good music and perfect our skills".

They have developed their own style of music that some say resemble UGK's Ridin' Dirty days. So if you haven't heard yet, remember the name Big Game Huntaz as they are on their way out of Florida to do Big Thangs! Below is a song they did with Big Bubb of UGK Records and their myspace! Big shouts to Trill Promotions for sendin' this stuff through, also if you haven't caught the new single off of UGK's upcoming album "UGK 4 Life" T.P. has provided a link for that.
