Lil Wayne, Q-Tip, Biz Markie, Bun B, Ghostface Killah & Scarface Set To Perform @ VH1 Hip Hop Honors 2009

This year’s VH1 Hip Hop Honors is set to be huge this year as Cypress Hill, De La Soul, Naughty by Nature, Slick Rick & Too $hort are all inducted into the Hip Hop Hall Of Fame. Its also been announced that Lil Wayne, Q-Tip, Big Boi, Biz Markie, Bun B, DJ Kaos, Ghostface Killah, Kid Rock, MC Lyte, Lil’ Jon, Scarface, Wyclef Jean, Cheech and Chong and Sanaa Lathan will turn out to pay homage at the event.Tracy Morgan will once again host this year’s VH1 Hip Hop Honors festivities which are scheduled to tape at New York City’s famed Hammerstein Ballroom on Thursday, October 2. The “VH1 Hip Hop Honors” broadcast will premiere on VH1 and VH1 Soul on Monday, October 6 at 10PM ET/PT. Also on Tuesday, September 16, VH1.com will launch its dedicated “VH1 Hip Hop Honors” Web site with honoree profiles, exclusive online programming, show information and more at HipHop.VH1.com.
