On This Day In 1998...Outkast Dropped "Aquemini"

On this day in 1998 Atlanta-based hip hop group dropped their 3rd studio album "Aquemini." Out of all the gems Outkast has dropped this album is my personal favorite. The song "Rosa Parks" is my favorite Outkast song of all time, but that joint is not the only one on this epic album that is worth mentioning. Maybe a couple little tracks named "Da Art Of Story Tellin' Pt. 1" and "Da Art Of Story Tellin' Pt. 2" ring a bell? If not, you will hear them below, but let's talk a bit more about this album.

When this album dropped the South didn't have the reign they do now on the hip hop/rap game, but make no mistake, Outkast as well as many other artists were making very good music as they still do today. You won't find many people who were into the genre at that time who didn't like or at least respect this Outkast album, definitely one of the finest if not the finest album to drop that year. I had purchased this album when it came out in '98, but it got stolen like many of my cds did :( When I get my gwop game up you can best believe I'm coppin' again! Below you will find a few tracks off the album, a video for "Rosa Parks" and a link to purchase "Aquemini" buy this shit, it's classic!!!
