This Cleveland MC Is Not 'Phuckkin'Around'... Meet Kayo Alcatraz!!!

The midwest is home to some very notable things. Take Northeast Ohio for example. Northeast Ohio is home to one of the biggest cities in the country, Cleveland. Cleveland is right next one of the great lakes, Lake Erie. It's also home to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Browns, Indians and the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. Cleveland isn't all about Rock & Roll and sports, The city has a very deep and blossoming hip hop scene as well. With a field that includes, but is not limited to artists such as Bone Thugs N Harmony, Ray Cash, Twiztid Mind, Al Fatz, Q.P., Kid Cudi & Chip Tha Ripper. Now it's time to famliarize you with an artist that is doing his thing big time in Cleveland, meet Kayo Alcatraz.

Kayo Alcatraz is a member of a Cleveland/Akron Ohio rap crew called Black Money, but he does do his thing on the solo side too. Kayo's tales of street struggles and real life drama gracefully give the listener not only entertaining music, but uplifting and motivating tracks that will help you get the party live, get you through tough times and help you get motivated to get that money. His content isn't the only thing notable about his MC either. His ability to schematically change his flow and delivery keeps you intrigued in every single one of his songs. Versatility to me is what defines an MC, and Kayo definitely fits the bill as a diverse and versatile artist.

Kayo Alcatraz and the Black Money Movement are reppin' C-Town and the midwest as a whole hardbody. Theses guys are hard on the grind and they soon will get the shine they deserve from all of they hard work. Kayo just dropped a new project called "The Way I See It: Volume 1" This street album is a perfect example what I was talking about above when I was describing Kayo's style and raps. Kayo was nice enough to slide over few tracks to give the BBB'rs and e-streets a taste before they cop the album. Below also are links to Kayo's and Black Money's respective myspace pages. Pay close attention to the songs on the playlist on Kayo's page, he just put up some brand new freestyles for the fans and e-streets to enjoy. Also on Kayo's page you can cop the new street albume "The Way I See It: Volume 1." If you are a supporter of real hip hop and the midwest movement you will contribute to Kayo's & Black Money's movement and cop a copy! What's good Kayo? You know I'm ride or die on this midwest ish, keep doing the damn thing mane!
