It's that time of the week to vent some of my frustrations with the fuckery that has plagued me for quite some time. So far I've gotten good feedback on this segment, so I will always make a post about this on Saturday's before I leave off the e-streets. So what grinds my gears this week you say? Shipping and handling!!! I can already see some of the backlash I'm going to get from this one...so I will be explain my case before I vent.
I realize that shipping costs are regulated by the post office/Fed Ex/UPS/etc. but since companies choose to include shipping with the handling (which is really the part that pisses me off) I have to include 'shipping' with this vent session. Ok, I explained myself, now it's time to get down to business.
"Fochs why does shipping and handling grind your gears? It's just a little fee you pay for ordering things online and from catalogues." The folks who are thinking that are right to certain extent. It is a routine process you must deal with when purchasing something online/from a catalogue, but the fact that business completely manipulate the cost of this procedure is what grinds my gears. So let's say you order something that weighs like a pound, your telling me its ok to have to pay 20 bucks for shipping and 'handling' when you know damn well the postage doesn't cost no 20 bucks for an item so small in size. That shit is ab-fucking-surd!!!!
They say you can't knock the hustle, but a good hustle doesn't involve screwing over hard working people who patronize your company by purchasing things from you. I would gladly pay a marked up value on the item instead of paying some hidden fee. It's just ridiculous what companies will do to get a little extra dough out of you. They really should regulate that shit, because I'm sick and tired of paying this damn near ridiculous over inflated 'handling' fee, fuck it, I'm only ordering stuff from companies that play by the rules, all you shmucks who charge 20 bucks shipping and 'handling' for a item that weighs less then your pea brains, you will no longer have BFochs's money!!!

lol, great post bfoch, yeah its some bullshit. I tend not to buy online anymore, to much bullshit involved. I stay away from big corps now too. I find real good companies that are local/family owned that have been around for a while and roll with them. I found that they treat you better and u get better long term deals. In fact i get free candy from one store owner now LOL i know candy right, but shit dudes just gonna throw away bags of candy. Instead now he gives em to me and me and my stoner friends munch tha fuck out for free. LOL
