Rap artist, songwriter, and lyricist Rico Paysos, born and raised in the same place known for Hip Hop, “The Boogie Down” Bronx, New York, he would later relocate to Hempstead, Long Island, where little is known about the gritty aspects of these "suburbs". Rico Paysos speaks about his experiences in the streets of Uniondale, and about his life as he has seen it while walking the top of the devil’s roof. Rico Paysos is not afraid to share his soul and experience with his audience. His music does not just talk about life; it represents it.
Long Island has been a quiet voice in the rap game since the eras of such greats as Public Enemy, Rakim, Biz Markie, Keith Murray and E.P.M.D. Paysos is a resurrection of the past legends as far as creating his own distinctive sound, with his unique flow and profound vocabulary, which allows for his creative wordplay. Dj Envy and Rico Paysos have teamed up to host a series of that titled mixtape. All have been distributed throughout the East coast, South, Midwest & Gulf coast and circulated over 100,000 hard copies distributed. Wherever his music is heard, he always develops a fan base. Paysos also brings an explosive live performance; he has opened for artist such as Busta Rhymes, Bobby V, & more. Rico Paysos has also performed in industry showcases for DJ K-Slay, DJ Envy and other top DJ’s. Paysos has also let his presence be known when it comes to nightclubs. Paysos has performed in Clubs such as Speed, SPY Club, and Club Amazura. Paysos has also performed at New York’s “Greekfest”, among other venues.
With his popularity on the rise and his name is becoming more common, his notoriety is establishing him as one of the most promising unsigned artist in the game.
