LA & MR. MUSIC'S NEW TRACK "PREDATOR" IS OUT ON THE PROWL
The duo's latest hit record will be appearing on LA's solo album, LA LA Land, due for release in the first quarter of 2009.
Chicago, IL (December 8, 2008): LA & Mr. Music are back again as the super duo from the Chicagoland area receives some help behind the boards from co-producer, Gene Karma, for their next hit single, "Predator"! This truly fresh track shines both lyrically and in the production as clever metaphors are seen in both aspects of the track. LA & Mr. Music are on the prowl for the female species as their unique delivery matches a beat filled with growls and strikes that enhance the mood of the hunting predators. The chemistry between the two artists is becoming more and more evident with each new release and is personified in the trade offs between the two in the 3rd verse, leading into one last booming chorus. The record appeals to fans of hip hop, electronica, and pop music and is well on its way to reaching the popularity of the last official record credited to both LA & Mr. Music: "One Nite Girl".
Mr. Music recalls, "As soon as I stumbled upon that growling sound effect, the "Predator" concept pretty much came to me right away. Then I got my man [Gene] Karma on the record to beef up the beat a little and make it bounce more, and after that, showed it to LA, and the rest is history".
LA adds, "[Mr.] Music and I co-wrote the whole track and recorded it after I heard the beat. Our chemistry is really poppin' in the third verse and I know this will be a fan-favorite off LA LA Land".
