On this day exactly one year ago, the game lost one of it's most legendary artists, Chad Butler, known to many as Pimp C. 1/2 of the historic rap duo, UGK, Pimp C helped pave the wave for many artists in the South. Not only being a pioneer in the rap game, Pimp C was one of the realest dudes in this shit. He never bit his tongue or held back his thoughts on any topic. People, you do not understand how rare it is to find people this trill in the rap game, in life period really.
In today's world, a majority of folks just aren't as real as they can be. Not Pimp C, that cat kept it 100 always, no matter the repercussions. When Pimp passed it was very unbelievable that such a horrible thing had happened. I remember last year reading about it on AllHipHop.com, not until I heard Bun B's tribute track for Pimp C on "II Trill" did I fully accept the fact that he was gone :( Pimp wouldn't want us to be down in the dumps about this situation, he'd want us to enjoy life and just keep it 100, I can dig it, you will always be missed Pimp C, may you rest in peace mane :( Peep some of the tribute tracks that were made for Pimp C and my favorite UGK & Pimp C song below...RIP Chad Butler, LONG LIVE THE PIMP!
