I'm sure you're wondering what the fuck a 810 is? Well for starters, 810 is 19 year old MC from Baltimore, Maryland. The first thing I noticed about 810 is that he's very versatile. For an artist that's only been rapping for 6 years, he seems to have it down to a science. Another thing you will notice by peeping the songs below is that he has very good ears for beats. Being able to be a fierce MC is only half the battle folks. If you can't spit over hot beats what's the point? Hip Hop to me is like poetry over beats, if you're not reciting your poetry over good production then really what's the use?
One more key factor about 810 that I must bring up is that he keeps it real. In today's day and age a lot of artists just won't even give you the decency of being them in their music. You don't have to worry about that with 810, because he is genuine in his music. The DMV scene has been blossoming as of late with the emergence of Wale and other artists. Like Wale says "we're from the DMV, so we're used to waiting." Well with 810 on the scene you won't have wait much longer! 810 released a mixtape called "Hard Work Conquers All" and he'll be releasing a mixtape called "Supply and Demand" in about a month.
