Recently, I was fortunate to get an advanced audio peek of Streetz & Young Deuces' latest studio effort, "Straight Drop Muzik," hosted & mixed by DJ Head Debiase of The Aphilliates. I must say, I have been anticipating this mixtape for quite awhile, and it lived up to my demands. After a intro from SNYD and a solid freestyle over Jay Rock's "All My Life," the games really begin when DJ Drama lays down a co-sign for the Streetz & Young Deuces, then it's off to the races!
Consistency-wise, this mixtape is in the top tier of mixtapes I've heard in the past 6 months or so, a very important aspect in my opinion when it comes to mixtapes. DJ Head Debiase of the Aphilliates did a solid job of sequencing the tracklist, although I would have liked to see one of my favorite ending tracks, "Cop A Squat" near the middle to build more energy for a stronger ending finish.
The production from producers DJ Triza, Trapademic, Tha Franchize, Juss Fresh, Astro Da Kid, 2Much Of BTP, Uncle Ruck, and SNYD Rock Your Beat Contest Winner, K-Monsta, complimented Streetz & Young Deuces' versatile style. Although the production was on point, I feel that they could have done some more freestyles on industry beats. All in all though, this mixtape went off without a hitch. On a scale of 1-5, 1 being "Audio Puke" and 5 being "Audio Piff," I give "Straight Drop Muzik" a 4/5, this mixtape is very solid, if Streetz & Young Deuces continue on producing projects like this, they will be 'welcoming da Mil' a whole new level of success even this guy didn't see.

Streetz & Young Deuces' mixtape, "Straight Drop Muzik," drops Tuesday, April 28th, supporting good Midwest music on that day wouldn't be a bad idea, cop "Straight Drop Muzik!"
