Milwaukee, WI artist Lil Rock, is not only a talented rapper, but he gets it in heavily with the pen and pad, his songwriting game is highly merited by many folks within the scene, I like to think of him as Wisconsin's version of Ne-Yo in the songwriting department. Lil Rock is a conceptual "artist" with captivating lyrics. He describes his style in 4 words, witty, intellectual, lyrical and conceptual. He conceptualizes his rhymes for the avid listeners who love hip hop and not music that is "dumbed down," as one of his favorite artists, Lupe Fiasco would say.

Lil Rock is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, hence the origin of his name. Lil Rock has a sound like none other. He currently has an album out entitled "The Quiet Riot" that has received nothing but praises from fans, peers, and other rappers in the city. The album has been one of the most anticipated albums to come out the city, Lil Rock spent almost 2 years working on it. he truly takes his "craft" serious. "I just make "music" is his favorite line to say.

Lil Rock also ghostwrites for other singers in the city, writing in genres such as: pop, gospel, R&B and Rock. He has a tattoo on his left arm that says "music in my veins,"truly by his work ethic, you can tell.
