I seen the friend add on myspace for this dude, and I peeped his page and liked what he was doing with that music ish. I seen the homie YoungKingz throw up one of his joints and it made me pay attention even more. Next thing you know it Young Truth and I are choppin' it up on AIM and the rest is history. Meet Young Truth!
Young Truth also known as William McMillan was born in Staten Island, N.Y. Currently his living in Harlem focusing on his career in music. Young Truth is a well-developed performer and songwriter. He has the ability to know what the people want to hear and the ability to rock a crowd. Only 20 years of age Young Truth still manage to create music of all ages in urban society.
At age 19 Young Truth begins his career with other music artist in a camp call Stay Fly Entertainment. The camp taught him how to make songs and perform them with excitement. After a year with Stay Fly entertainment Young Truth decided to start from scratch with his own team.
With that decision made Young Truth currently manages is team called Up T.O.P Records and is working on a S-Corp for the company. This mini label consist a few artist besides Young Truth himself. Theirs Guap Starz which is a duo Flam-ez and Nillz, Question female rapper, and Harlem's own Dj Fatboy. The circle is small but very strong.
This soon to be icon Young Truth has performed over 100 show in and out the Tri-State area. Some of the highlights are Mo Pitkin's, Vida Social club, Knapp's Underground, Iguana lounge, and many more.
He also appeared on many mixtapes of artist. Now with a mixtape of his own called It's My Turn Vol. 1 Host By Dj Fatboy he can now expand and grown as artist.
Influences entails God first, jay-z, Biggie, 2pac. Wu tang Clan, Rakim, and all hip-hop icons who paid a way and open door for artist on the come up. The family and peers of Young Truth also influenced him to grind harder. Young Truth has a vision to go far and currently working on many projects. Stay tune...
